It can be configured to suit any saw type (blades over 14″ require R&D and may be subject to extended turn over time — contact us if your setup has a large blade). The guard attaches to your system via a splitter or riving knife (depending on make and model) or via an overarm mount. This product was designed to meet a need — reducing the risk of lumber kickbacks during saw usage. When paired with the splitter (or riving knife) and anti-kickback pawls, your saw will have drastically reduced instances of this issue.
If that wasn’t enough, it also works as an excellent dust collector! Keep your work area as clean as your finished products.
Disclaimer — If your setup is equipped with a high CFM dust collection system, the 4″ dust port can cause the unit to function as a vacuum and may result in your work being pulled into the guard.
